Arnaud Andrieu is a freelance photojournalist whose projects and assignments have taken him to over a dozen countries, including Ukraine, El Salvador, Iraq, Palestine, Turkey, Armenia, Comoros and the United States.
Born in Paris, he studied architecture before relocating to Reunion Island, where he began his photography career. In 2016, he moved to Istanbul to pursue international reporting. From 2019 to 2021, he worked as a photo editor for Le Monde, based in Los Angeles. He then lived in Panama for a brief period before returning to Istanbul. In 2023, he settled in The Hague, Netherlands, with his partner and their daughter.
His work primarily focuses on political instabilities, social issues, natural disasters, and conflicts worldwide. He has been represented by SIPA PRESS for over a decade.
His pictures have been published by Le Monde, Le Figaro Magazine, L'Express, Libération, Paris Match, L'Obs, Die Zeit, The Guardian, Der Spiegel, and other publications.
When home, he spends his free time running and typewriting.
